Vera Bradley Foundation: Making a Difference in Woman's Lives

by Sandy Jankovich on November 11, 2022

Hope lives in research. That is why the Vera Bradley Foundation is committed to see a beautiful future free of breast cancer. Co-founders, Barbara Bradley and Patricia R. Miller began fundraising for breast cancer research in 1993 after the loss of their dear friend, Mary Sloan. Together with donors like you they have raised over $37 million that has gone directly to the Indiana University of Medicine where researchers are focused on developing and dramatically improving therapies for some of the most difficult-to-treat types breast cancers. Precision medicine research funded by the Vera Bradley Foundation is leading to promising discoveries in the area of diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

“Through the efforts of our esteemed research team, we honor the legacy of all who have braved this disease by pushing the boundaries of modern medicine to spread hope and find a cure.”

Very Bradley is best known for their iconic style and vision, to make the world a brighter place, through the use of colorful fabrics and distinctive hand-drawn patterns for their extensive line of handbags, backpacks, travel bags and accessories.
